The world largest "Bak Kut Tea"

The world largest Bak-Kut-Teh was found in the area near Klang in Malaysia. =)
This Bak Kut Teh is made by 5 local shops with the ingredients below:
1.500 kilograms of pork
2. 450 liters of bak kut teh soup
3. 50 kilograms of herbal ingredients

It has been listed in the Malaysia Book of Records and reportingGuinness world record.

Bak-kut-teh is a type of  Chinese soup popularly served in Malaysia, which literally translates as "meat bone tea", The Bak-Kut-Teh consists of meaty pork ribs simmered in a complex broth of herbs and spices (including star anise, cinnamon, cloves, dang gui, fennel seeds and garlic) for hours. Despite its name, there is in fact no tea in the dish itself; the name refers to a strong oolong Chinese tea which is usually served alongside the soup in the belief that it dilutes or dissolves the copious amount of fat consumed in this pork-laden dish.

Bak kut teh is usually eaten with rice or noodles (sometimes as a noodle soup),  and it is typically a famous morning meal. The Hokkien and Teochew are traditionally tea-drinking cultures and this aspect runs deep in their cuisines.
